I don't enjoy so much to dance with being witnessed by camera. But sometimes I really curious how the butoh or body language can open different resonance pattern with camera? Is it possible to capture the essence of butoh by camera? How the camera can dance together? What is the relationship in between seer and seen? How to capture the invisible flow in the space during dancing? How the very very subtle moves and hidden part of body, hidden skin can be resonated with camera? Becasue we know the possibilty of exapnding the connetion on the planet through camera. It can go beyond phsycal body, beyond boundaries. For those curiosities, I really enjoy to work with Raul Bartolome who is film, photo artist and also a butoh dancer. This series is one of the collaboration with him.
